Zoomerang/New Zooland/Japan - English version

Tour Legs: This program is from the 5th and final leg of the ZOO TV tour. This leg of the tour was known as Zoomerang (Australia)/New Zooland (New Zealand)/Japan. So a nice little play on words there for the Aussie and Kiwi parts. This leg started at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia on 12 Nov 1993 and finished up on 10 Dec 1993 at the Egg Dome in Tokyo, Japan. A total of 10 shows to close out the historic ZOO TV tour.

On this leg of the tour is notable for 2 main events. 1) the concert in Sydney on 26 Nov 1993 is the first concert to be missed by a member of U2 2) the following night, the ZooTV Live From Sydney video is film on 27 Nov 1993. It was released on VHS at the time and more recently on DVD.
Dates covered in program: 12 Nov 1993 to 10 Dec 1993 (10 shows)
No. of pages: 34 (including the fold out front and rear covers)
Size: 35.5cm x 28cm
Printing: Glossy cover with matte card pages. As per the previous programs on this tour, BP Fallon's Q&A are interspersed with both promo shots and some concert photo's. The Q&A are different to previous programs and also some of the photo's are different with some making a direct reference to the Zooropa leg of the tour.
Cost: I bought the one pictured below for $31 from a local seller on ebay in auction. In my time of collecting these programs, I haven't seen too many of the this version, but that could just be the timing of my purchases. At the same time as this one, there was also a more damaged copy that went for about $15, so be patient and the right one will come along sooner or later. I've seen US sellers unsuccessfully trying to get $75 for this program, so pick your moment.
